Pria da Vitoria is a port city on the Eastern end of the island Terceira. The Hydrangeas grow wild all over the area as can be seen on this road leading to the top of a mountain where the picture below was taken.

Panoramic view of the Pria da Vitoria. Each summer around late July or early August is the annual Pria fest. It is one of the yearly highlights for the island. Many restaurants from mainland Portugal come and set up mini restaurants to sample food. The week long event features concerts, dance exhibitions and bull fights. Unfortunately I was only able to be there for the opening night and missed many of the activities.
